Lotus came to Lynxeye after getting Geely as new owner. It wanted to take on Porsche and become a leading global sports car brand, both in terms of size and recognition.

Lotus saw 4.4% global sales growth and regional growth in key markets, USA 32% and China 28%, in 2020 vs. 2019. Two new models, Evija and Emira, were launched along with electric SUV’s.
