Lotus came to Lynxeye to become a leading global sports car brand in terms of both size and recognition.

Lotus is a British manufacturer of sports and racing cars founded in 1948. It is part of Geely group since 2017.

Challenge

Lotus came to Lynxeye after getting Geely as new owner. It wanted to take on Porsche and become a leading global sports car brand, both in terms of size and recognition.

Response

Lynxeye provided unique insights on brand, product and business and set new positioning, direction, as well as brand and product strategy.

Impact

Lotus saw 4.4% global sales growth and regional growth in key markets, USA 32% and China 28%, in 2020 vs. 2019. Two new models, Evija and Emira, were launched along with electric SUV’s.
