ISO, the International Organization for Standardization, has decided upon a standard for monetary brand valuation. The standard will mainly assist in acquisitions and legal disputes where intangible brand assets can play a major role.

As a Christmas gift from all employees, LynxEye has decided to fund My Big Day’s Christmas program.

March 25, Christian Ihre, partner and founder of LynxEye, gave a lecture on "What we can learn from the world's strongest brands" for Good Founding Investors.

Based on our experience on Greek People Segmentation and on Consumer Trends watching.

Lynxeye helps Systembolaget, the Swedish alcohol retail monopoly, to ensure better consumer understanding. Work has been going on during the winter and will finish in spring 2010.

Gina Roupaka joined the 7th Marketing Directors Forum about Marketing Accountability. Introducing the importance of accurate consumer targeting, she presented 5 common pitfalls that prevent marketers from using segmentations in a holistic way during the process of brand management.

Helena Malmersjö won the vote among the members of Wednesday Relations and was the keynote speaker at the CRM Bazaar fair. She lectured about brand strategy and opportunities during economic recession. Helena also participated in a panel discussion at Experiandagen, in which the subject was the importance of segmenting and consumer insights within mail order shopping.

Aftonbladet has together with LynxEye identified different reader segments and based on that developed a consumer driven brand strategy. “Aftonbladet have always been a newspaper close to its readers and have always seen the world from the average Joe’s perspective, therefore it feels natural to create a brand strategy based on the readers”, says Jan Helin chief editor at Aftonbladet.

Volvo has given LynxEye the assignment to set Volvos future global brand position.

During spring 2009, LynxEye and If has initiated a collaboration through a project involving If’s Nordic markets. If is the dominant Nordic Private and Company insurer with a Nordic markets share of about 20% and 3,6 milllion customers.

LynxEye is happy to continue its collaboration with ATG – the Swedish Horse Racing Totalisator Board – during 2009. For the last couple of years, we have had the privilege to work with different strategic branding challenges, which has had implications on ATG’s communication, product development and distribution.

LynxEye consultant Jacob Sandström will on April 21 hold a course at the MIS seminar (Marknadsföreningen i Stockholm) on the subject "How to treat your Brand during a recession".

LynxEye´s Jacob Sandström was featured in an article by Linda Skugge in Svenska Dagbladet and E24.se about how companies can use the recession as a springboard for growth; “The crisis is here – take a chance”.

Jacob Sandström from LynxEye spoke at Marknadsföreningen's monthly branding seminar in Stockholm at the end of September which has now been featured in “Marknadsledaren”.

LynxEye is one of the fastest growing companies in Sweden and has for the 2nd time been included in the prestigious group “Gazelle Companies”.

LynxEye has had a great start of 2008 with renewed trust from old clients as well as the introduction of new ones.

LynxEye climbed rapidly in the 2008 release of Affärsvärldens Konsultguidens ranking as we continued to outpace the industry growth. Based on turnover LynxEye is now ranked as the 34th largest Management Consultancy in Sweden (vs 50th in the previous release) and can also proudly stipulate ourselves as the largest Swedish Brand Management Consultancy.

The latest additions to the LynxEye family are Fredrik Arvius and Katarina Johansson, who both start as project managers.
